A nice size rooms with a shower and excellent staff. Central heating, multi-channel TV and coffee/tea making equipment were nice.

The hotel had indeed a good location to other activities around Bournemouth. Rooms with a bath had a family atmosphere. The staff was accommodating from my arrival up until I left.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were extremely unhelpful.

We had a great time. Fairly clean hotel, we loved fab stuff and location. Venue's location was perfect and handy, near the tennis courts. The room was huge when upgraded with hairdryer, bed made etc, for example. The breakfast was great value on food & drink and the pool was nice.
Well, Wi-Fi was very poor.

The rooms are huge with a bath, bedrooms, as example. The atmosphere of the hotel is family.

only stayed for one night so unable to make comment.
Room decor very dated - also bathroom extremeley grotty ie carpet dirty stains - hard flooring/lino would be more hygenic.

It was basic, clean and had a friendly atmosphere. I would stay there again.
I think it should be made clearer on the internet that the swimming pool is in a seperate building, so you have to walk outside of the hotel to get to the pool. Sauna also needs some work on it, very basic.

I liked the kindness of the breakfast staff and the breakfast by itself, witch I think was great.
I think the room looks a bit old and I also tcheck the picture along the breakfast room and think that the hotel was looking much better as a Victorian mansion, before the roof changement in the early 80's

The Hotel is situated within an easy walk into Bournemouth
The rooms were very noisy, rooms above and to either side, the floors creaked and the corridor door were constantly banging closed.

There were pretty well kept gardens surrounding this somewhat dated hotel. The resturant staff were quick and efficient and the breakfast was good value.
We were woken up at approx. 1.15 am by a large group of teenagers arriving at the hotel. They were obviously excited and were laughing running about and shouting in the room? next to ours and outside our room. As we were in a self catering room in an annex (rather than the double hotel room we had booked) we had no phone in our room . So my husband had to get up and dressed to report the noise to reception, after trying to sort out the problem ourselves. Thankfully a gentleman got dressed and came a spoke to the leaders and the the noise stopped.

Cozy vibes and friendly staff
The staff were super nice and helped us with anything we needed. Loved that there's live music at night! Only problem was that our room was a bit cramped, tough with our toddler. We enjoyed the bar area for snacks too.
